Concept
「ロングビーチハウス」は、飲食・宿泊・地域交流ができる復興複合施設です。
県内外の方に石巻の魅力を発信、体験できる場にしていきます。
現在、ロングビーチハウスを運営しているＮＰＯ法人オンザロードは、
東日本大震災の直後の2011年4月より、宮城県石巻市・牡鹿群女川町に入り、
泥出し・ガレキ撤去など、延べ25，000人以上のボランティアで、大規模な災害復興支援活動をさせて頂きました。
現在は、地域のコミュニティ作りや、再生した店舗の売上向上を促進させるべく、
経済活動支援を進めるなど、継続して復興支援を行なっております。
その傍ら、2013年12月より、ロングビーチハウスの建設を開始。
沢山の方々にご支援・ご協力を頂きながら、
この度、「ロングビーチハウス」をオープンすることが出来ました。

『ここ石巻の街に県内外の方々が集い、石巻について見て聞いて、
地元の美味しい食材を食べられる場を提供したい』
『地元の方と県内外の方の交流・情報発信の場にしていきたい』
綺麗な海と美味しい海産物が多く採れる石巻、渡波の魅力や震災からの復興の様子などを知ってもらう事で、
より多くの人たちが石巻に遊びに来られる事を目指していきます。
We, Long Beach House is the multiple facility of eating, staying and gathering.
We build a place which our visitors can experience and disseminate the allurement of Ishinomaki.
NPO On the Road, who is operating Long Beach House, did volunteer work such as mud outing and cleaning in Ishinomaki and Onagawa from April after the Tsunami disaster in 2011 with over 25,00 volunteers in total. Currently we have been shifting to focus on developing local community.
Long Beach House construction project started in December 2013. Because of lots of help and cooperation, we were finally able to open Long Beach House in March 2015.

We commit to work on advertise the allurement of Ishinomaki such as beautiful ocean and super fresh seafood also the restoring process from Tsunami disaster, so people get interest to visit in this town.
